The hardest transformation of your life

The birth of your babe is supposed to be one of the best and more transformative moments in your life, and capturing those moments is as important as capturing your wedding day. The unexpected loss of that babe, or the known loss prior to birth, is just as transformative, and just as important to capture - perhaps even more so, as the time spent with them on earth is so fleeting and the memories can be shrouded in grief.

I provide bereavement photography as well as doula support for families who find themselves dealing with a loss. I know that sometimes a photograph is all someone has to remember their loved one by, and by capturing all the intimate, delicate details; the rawness and the power of your love, and yes, of the loss…those photographs can bring comfort and healing in unexpected ways.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you find yourself dealing with a loss. As a trained doula, and a human being, I will hold space for you, honor your story and your pain, and document the beautiful little one you grew and carried and love.

For families who can’t afford to pay for bereavement services I offer them free of charge.

I volunteer at several local hospitals to provide these services to families, and am also available for out of hospital losses.

Hi, I’m Megan

If you made it to this page, it’s likely that you’re experiencing, or know someone who is experiencing a loss. I am so, so sorry that you’re navigating this - but I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone.

I’ve felt called to hold space for families and individuals experiencing loss for a long time. In addition to being a certified bereavement doula, I regularly take continuing education on grief and loss, and am myself a caretaker for my elderly parents who suffer from dementia. I haven’t chosen an easy path in life, but I offer my services for those who don’t get the chance to choose the path they are traveling.

“We carried you every second of your life, and we will love you every second of ours”

I will document the birth of your babe the same way I would for my other clients - I focus on the genuine human connections, the moments - big and small, that weave the story of that BIG, big love you have for that babe you carried and nourished. Your photos will be stored indefinitely in a private online gallery, available for you to view if and when you’re ready to
